Yes, I agree to what everyone says about instructions. Instructions suck, hard to understand with only one page. But if you go and watch a youtube video about how to install a celling fan with light, it's pretty simply. It's intimidating at first, but once you get the general idea of how the basics of install the celling fan with remote work, it's quite simple. The only thing I don't like about this celling fan is that it doesn't have a dimmer capability. I'm not sure if that's because of the LED diodes. But it would be perfect if it could dim. The toggling between the 3 light setting is a little annoying, because the first toggle is the Natural light which is very bright but another toggle, give you the more yellow light which is better for night time lighting. I had a dimmer switch on my wall, found out that I had to replace it with a egular switch so that it would not make a buzzing sound when it was on. Over all, I think it's a great light and fan. I'm glad I got it.The instructions say its made for a cement ceiling or a wooden ceiling. (That is not in the descriptions before purchasing!). I have a new home home that is a drywall ceiling with a metal frame and you must use the a ceiling fan box for the mount. The mounting bracket they provide is too large for that for a 4" ceiling fan box. We had to get a smaller mounting bracket that fits a 4" ceiling box that is sold online not at the stores. Million the company did gives us money back for having to buy the bracket. Then once we got the bracket, it took 3 hours and 3 people to figure out the very vague instructions. FYI the LED box has magnets on the corner, to make the LED box fit in the center you must take the back off, the thread that comes from the center with the wires is too long you must get the wire in that also, so you don't see them. BEST OF LUCK! We do LOVE the fan. It works great. Looks amazing just a hassle to install.There was no instructions on the wiring, and when it came to connecting the light/fan the wires were all color coded white! The remote and instructions were to a completely different fan unit.Update 8-8-18. After communicating with the seller, they were able to explain the instructions and we were able to install the fan with no further problems. They shipped the missing remote quickly and provided follow up to ensure that we were able to get everything working properly. We are now very happy with the finished product and I am updating this review to let everyone know that if they have a problem with the product, all they have to do is to contact the seller and they will make it right.The low speed does not open the blades however this is not a problem for me since I use the fan at medium speedVery fine fan and controlThis is the 2nd fan different model I boughtHighly recommendedWatch video for install, a must!Beautiful product a show piece in my closet!I was so delighted to find ceiling lights with retractable fans that matched my decor. The lights are beautiful and I am thrilled that the fan blades are hidden when not in use. The lights have varying light warmth which allows me to have bright light when I need it and soft light to relax by. Installation of the fan was straight forward. Customer support was excellent, the team is very customer service oriented. I highly recommend this company and these fans.Look for YouTube video instruction which would be helpful.Although the fan looks beautiful, Note that the circle patterns may Reflect on walls and clothing as a pattern reflected from the lights. This is only a reflection.
